Ford Loveday Estate Agency is a 'Boutique' estate agency dedicated to representing Minchinhampton and its surrounding villages.  We are a small team that have a combined property experience of over 30 years, working within Minchinhampton and the Five Valleys. We have built up an unrivalled knowledge of the local market and what makes this such a unique part of the Cotswolds, where so many people wish to live.

Modern technology allows boutique agencies to adopt a more nuanced approach to marketing their clients' properties with the additional benefit of lower fees, by dispensing with the need for expensive office premises.

How we operate

If so invited, we would initially arrange (in strictest confidence), an appointment to visit you to ascertain your requirements of us and subsequently provide you with a written report, entirely without obligation.  Should you wish us to take the matter further, we would return - confirm your instructions and only when you are completely satisfied, would the contract be signed to act on your behalf.

Thereafter depending upon how you wished us to market your property e.g., either privately to potentially interested parties already known to us or publicly with open marketing, we would proceed to do so as quickly as you desire. We would commission professional photography and floor plans together with an Energy Performance Certificate (if required) and once the marketing material has been approved, proceed accordingly.

For open marketing, in addition to personally contacting interested parties known to us (as above), we would utilise social media (Facebook, Instagram etc), and the relevant property portals to promote your property in an imaginative manner so that it receives regional, national and international exposure. In both instances we would coordinate any viewing appointments to a time and date convenient to you, accompany the interested party and report to you thereafter with any feedback.

We fully appreciate how important it is to keep clients updated throughout the sale process, so that when offers are received, they can make an informed decision and are not just presented with a 'fait accompli'. Crucially once an offer is accepted, we continue to be fully involved on your behalf during the conveyancing process, liaising closely both with you, your solicitor and the purchaser's solicitors, to enhance communication and align expectations regarding the exchange of contracts. Finally, we are always pleased to assist with any arrangements for completion and the handover of keys.
